Forklift Orientation is Mandatory for all interested students. Please be prepared to stay 4 hours.

9 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Orientation is given on the Bishop State Carver Campus in the Adult Education Building. The address is 414 Stanton Rd, Mobile, AL 36617

This is a 3 week course that requires in class attendance.

HYBRID COURSE | 3-WEEK PROGRAM

Prepare for high-demand careers with this 3-week hybrid course that includes:

  • TABE Math Assessment -  Helps students identify their current math skill level and supports targeted learning for workplace tasks. It builds confidence in applying math to real-world situations in construction and manufacturing, such as measurements, calculations, and problem-solving.
  • Northstar Digital Literacy - Helps students build essential computer and internet skills through modules on Computer Basics and Internet & Email Use, preparing them to complete online training, communicate professionally, and succeed in modern workplaces.
  • RFI (Ready For Industry) Construction & Manufacturing–  Develops construction and manufacturing students by teaching essential safety practices, workplace skills, and industry knowledge. It prepares them for entry-level jobs with flexible online learning and recognized micro-credentials that show they’re ready to work.
  • OSHA 10 General Industry – Online, OSHA-authorized safety training covering workplace hazards, rights, and responsibilities. Earn your official OSHA 10 card from the U.S. Department of Labor.

This course is ideal for individuals seeking stackable credentials and a strong start in the workforce.
