Bishop State Adult Education Program

* Student MUST meet requirements for fee waiver * 

* REQUIREMENTS*

1. Must be at least 18 years old

2. Must have earned a GED or high school diploma

3. Pass a drug/health test

4. Pass Criminal Background Check 

5. Have a current state-issued Alabama Driver’s License/Identification

Demonstrate they have strong communication and interpersonal skills.

You will be called as your name comes up on the list

A Reading TABE assessment is required for course eligibility. 

If a student scores on the E Level, we will require a review and approval upon entering the course.

Students will receive their certification for this class after they have completed MAPS, ACE, and all coursework.
